Covid-related Change & Good Financial Update (1.06.22)

This is a quick update with a necessary covid related change and a fantastic financial update.

First, this huge spike in Omicron cases has affected both our volunteer population and attendance. Because of this, we are going to remain at one 9 am service for the time being.

Kid Zone will still be offered as usual, so long as we continue to have enough volunteers to operate effectively. We will add extra seats (450 in total) to make sure we can keep safe distances within that one service and when we begin to approach 300 we will move back to two services. We will continue to show the live service in the Dug Out and stream it online. As we have throughout the pandemic we'll continue to follow state guidelines. Masks are recommended and available for free in the lobby if you would like one. Hang in there everyone! We will get through this (see the last paragraph if we can help you with that).

On a much brighter note, we exceeded our target of $185,000 to reach our 2021 budget goal. This is fantastic! Thank you so much for your generosity! I'm always amazed at how God uses everyone to keep on going and growing. This brief omicron pause withstanding, 2022 will see us picking up where we left off last year, growing in greater effectiveness and reach.

One last thing, if anyone is struggling and could use some prayer or some help please reach out. We'd love to help. You can email us or use this link: https://www.nechapel.org/help

See yousoon (in person or online),

Mike
