NEC supports others locally, regionally and globally

When NEC was first founded more than 20 years ago, we made a promise, a commitment to be a blessing to those within and beyond our walls.

It has been a tough year on so many levels and although we can’t safely go on mission trips, our work continues in providing support to our partners locally, regionally and globally via food drives, other collections and the sharing in our resources.

Pictured are students from a school in Uganda from when NEC members visited a number of years ago. We recently received an email from a dear friend who oversees the Vineyard Christian School. The COVID 19 pandemic has battered the small villages in Uganda particularly hard. The economic instability has worsened significantly and food insecurity is a real concern.

As the school prepares to re-open later this month under strict COVID guidelines, there was not enough food for the children. Through a modest donation from NEC, there will be food for several months for the children as they continue their education. Please pray for the students' health and safety.

In recent months, NEC has also supported wildfire relief in the west and hurricane relief along the gulf coast.
Our Restoration ministry is always at work looking to meet the needs of others. Please keep your eyes open for the upcoming Thanksgiving food and Christmas gift drives.

Thanks for helping us make a real difference as we share God’s love with others.
